🎿 Back Mountain Ski Resort Free Admission: From now until November 30, 2025, the Xiling Snow Mountain Ski Resort (Back Mountain) offers free admission to all visitors.
🚠 Cable Car Fees: Yuanyangchi Cable Car round trip 88 RMB/person, Riyueping Cable Car round trip 88 RMB/person. Purchase is recommended.

🚗 Transportation Guide
🚙 Self-driving: Depart from Chengdu, take Chengming Expressway, exit at Dayi East, go through Dayi North Second Ring Road directly to Xiling Snow Mountain Scenic Area (Back Mountain), about 1.5 hours in total. Parking fee is 10 RMB/day.
🚄 High-speed Rail + Shuttle Bus: Take high-speed rail from Chengdu East Station or Chengdu West Station to Dayi Station (about 30 minutes), then transfer to the scenic area tourist shuttle, about 1 hour direct to the scenic area. High-speed rail runs frequently from 6:30 AM to 9:50 PM.
🚌 Passenger Bus: There are direct buses to Xiling Snow Mountain from Chadianzi Bus Station, departing daily at 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM.

🌄 Plan 1: Easy Sightseeing Tour
Take the Yuanyangchi Cable Car up the mountain — Snow Reflection Square — take the Riyueping Cable Car to the summit — watch the sea of clouds — Yin-Yang Boundary — return. This route is easy, suitable for photo stops and enjoying panoramic views of the snow mountain.

🥾 Plan 2: Hiking + Cable Car Combination
The Back Mountain trail is free and open (until November 30), about 1.5 hours hiking to Yuanyangchi, then take the cable car to the summit. Suitable for those who like the outdoors but don’t want to hike the entire way.
⭐ Highly Recommended: Be sure to go up to Riyueping! The probability of sea of clouds in autumn is high, and you can see the famous “Yin-Yang Boundary” meteorological wonder — under the same sky, one side is bathed in sunlight while the other is shrouded in mist.

💡 Helpful Tips
👕 Dress Suggestion: The temperature difference at the summit is 8-10℃ lower than at the foot, bring a light down jacket or windbreaker, and wear non-slip shoes.
⏰ Operating Hours: The scenic area is open year-round from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, cable cars stop operating at 5:00 PM, be sure to plan your descent time accordingly.
📅 Avoid Peak Times: Weekends are crowded, it’s recommended to visit on weekdays for a better experience.

There are several hotels inside the scenic area, such as Yingxue Hotel, convenient for continuing your visit the next day.
After descending, you can choose Huashuiwan Hot Spring Resort to soak in hot springs and relieve fatigue.

⚠️ Notes: The Qianshan Dafeishui Scenic Area is not included in this free admission event; the plank road closes at 5:30 PM, no night climbing allowed; check the weather forecast before traveling and choose days with high visibility for the best viewing experience.
