
Lushan Ski Resort, located within the Lushan Scenic Area in Lushan City, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, is Jiujiang's only alpine ski resort. Its combination of natural snowfall and snowmaking fills the void of outdoor ski resorts in Jiangxi Province, making it a premier winter ski resort destination in East China.
The total area of the first phase of the ski resort is 38,000 square meters. It has one beginner ski slope, one learning slope , one intermediate slope and one Canadian snow ring slope , which can meet the needs of ski enthusiasts at different levels.
The resort is equipped with 2,700 sets of professional ski equipment , 900 sets of ski suits, 300 ski rings, 15 imported snowmaking machines , a professional snow groomer, and two snow lifts. It also features a 2,290- square-meter parking lot and a 2,000- square-meter ski equipment rental hall, complete with a medical clinic, merchandise store, ski training school, and free hot water. The Chinese fast food restaurant can accommodate 1,000 people at a time.
The ski trails follow the natural contours of the mountain, forming curved, undulating slopes that offer a challenging experience. Furthermore, the Lushan Scenic Area boasts well-preserved natural vegetation, including pine and fir forests, creating a beautiful environment. The air is rich in negative oxygen ions, allowing skiers to breathe deeply while experiencing the thrill of a lightning-fast glide, a natural oxygen bar.
