Sunrise to sunset in Death Valley

A winters trip chasing the sun through Death Valley. Our trip started at 4.30 in the morning from Las Vegas with a quiet drive over to Death Valley.

Our first stop was sunrise at Badwater Basin. At this time of year the basin was flooded making for breath taking views and reflections.

Next we stoped at Devils golf course and onto Artists pallet for a quick snack break.

At around lunchtime we stopped at the Ranch for a swim and bite to eat. Highly recommend doing this, the water is spring fed and amazing, even on a winters day!

Our final stop was sunset at Zabriskie Point. We followed the trail and encountered few people. The main point and photo spot from the car park was very busy though!
