🗺️ One-Day Trip Guide:
Getting There:
Driving: The best option! Just navigate to "Shiniushan Scenic Area" (石牛山景区).
Train: Take the bullet train to Dehua Station, then transfer to bus 16 to get there. Just be aware that the train schedule can be limited, so plan your time carefully.
Route & Itinerary:
Take the shuttle bus into the scenic area.
Head straight to the "Fairy Tale Forest."
Take the magic carpet + large cable car to the upper station and go to the main peak.
From the middle cable car station, you can take a small cable car or walk for 30 minutes on the wooden plank path to the Sky Mirror.
Go to the Daixian Waterfall.
Ride the water buffalo back down to the "Fairy Tale Forest," then take the shuttle bus to exit the park.
Pro-Tips for a Perfect Day (Total Trip Time: ~6 hours):
Go to the "Fairy Tale Forest" before 3 PM! The sunlight's Tyndall effect is at its absolute best, and if you're wearing a white dress, your photos will be stunning!
The cable car ride to the main peak takes about 40 minutes, and the climb up the peak itself is around 30 minutes.
The Sky Mirror is beautiful, just like its name suggests. Don't skip it!
The small cable car takes you directly to the waterfall. However, walking the 30-minute plank path downhill is also a beautiful and photo-worthy option.
