🌿 First, meet the "270° Glass House Homestay": Sleep inside a bamboo forest oxygen bar
Just 1 hour from Hangzhou and 2 hours from Shanghai by car, Moganshan is wrapped in bamboo forests this season, with the air filled with a sweet freshness~
The rooms are truly heart-stealing! Three sides of huge floor-to-ceiling windows🪟, pull back the curtains to see endless green hills, like moving your bed right into the bamboo sea, healing you every second~ The room also has a bathtub🛁, soak while watching the mountain view outside the window, the experience is top-notch!
The public areas are also super enjoyable: the courtyard is as exquisite as a painting, perfect for gathering around a stove to brew tea🍵 or soak in the hot springs♨️; the café, bar, outdoor pool, and viewing platform are all fully equipped. Whether with kids or friends for a few days, you’ll never be bored~
The most touching part is the service details: the butler helps find the best photo spots, and there are a few soft and fluffy cats🐱 around, creating a relaxed vibe perfectly~
🏰 Next, explore "Naked Stables": The noble feel of a mountaintop ancient castle
Who can resist a Scottish castle in the forest! From afar on the road, it’s hidden in the dark woods, mysterious and dazzling—this is Moganshan’s "iconic landmark." Rebuilt in 2017 from the ruins of a 1910 castle, it took 4 years and 200 million yuan, sitting directly at 800 meters above sea level, overlooking the entire bamboo forest and sea of clouds~
The design is so stylish! It blends the Art Deco styles of 1920s-30s New York and Shanghai. The castle’s courtyard has a historic corridor with century-old stories~ The 95 rooms each have their own charm: modern minimalist rooms with mountain views from the windows; themed suites (Hidden Room, Royal, Diva, Dungeon, Boss) that let you time travel, even some with "prison cells and handcuffs and shackles" (sounds wild but super immersive!); cliffside suites are even more amazing, with bathtubs facing the mountain view🌄, soaking feels like floating in the clouds~
Top-notch dining, entertainment, and accommodation:
• Restaurants: "Fortress Tower Chinese Restaurant" serves Cantonese and Hangzhou cuisine; "Naked Taste" 270° glass room frames the mountain view like a painting;
• Leisure: Enjoy English afternoon tea🍰 in the lounge, browse books in the vintage library, like stepping into a European noble’s daily life;
• Fun: Tea picking, yoga🧘♀️, spa, and weekend bonfires where groups gather around the fire, warming the heart~
Service is impeccable: one-on-one from arrival to departure, electric carts on call throughout the park, even the front desk staff speak softly and politely, comfortable and dignified~
One thing to note: peak season is truly busy! Rooms in the castle often get fully booked, so book early if you want to go~
Moganshan really knows how to vacation~ Want to hide in the forest and breathe fresh air? Choose the 270° Glass House Homestay; want to fulfill a noble dream? Naked Stables is definitely the way to go! Next time, I’ll stay at these two again~💯
