Bangladesh | Things to note when transiting in Qatar + Bangladesh airport departure test! Things you must know before going abroad

#5月好去处2025

This return trip from Bangladesh gave me a new experience of the local airport process, and I wrote it down to remind you who are about to depart.

At Dhaka International Airport in Bangladesh, you have to queue up to check your passport and boarding information before entering the airport gate, which is very different from the Taoyuan Airport we are familiar with. In other words, before entering the terminal, you have to go through a physical inspection, and everyone has to show their passports and flight information.

On that day, we encountered a whole row of passengers queuing at an entrance and exit. In fact, there is more than one gate on site. If you find that the entrance is crowded, it is recommended to go around to another gate and try it. In many cases, it will be much faster!

In addition, it is recommended that everyone arrive at the airport at least 3 hours in advance, otherwise you may be stuck at the first checkpoint before entering the airport. Unlike most international airports, you can drag your luggage and go through the procedures as soon as you enter the gate. There are manual inspections and security procedures at each checkpoint. The overall process is slower, and it is really safer to arrive a little earlier.

Although the overall facilities are simple, Qatar Airways' transfer service is still very good. Remember to make good use of the rest space in the terminal, or walk around. The overall movement lines and indicators are clear.
