Honeymoon Heaven: Blissful Escape

Wow—what can we say... Our honeymoon has been absolutely amazing! From the enchanting seaplane arrival to settling into our villa to find our luggage already there and the place beautifully decorated—it was flawless. Despite an injury that left me using crutches for the week, all the staff went above and beyond to make things easier, which was greatly appreciated—thank you! We dined at most of the eateries, with our favorites being Andalusia, Takrai, and Kurry Leaf. The Mint bar earned a special spot in our hearts due to the stunning sunsets and staff like Falih, Dinesh, and Shellia. We stayed from September 9th to 16th and only experienced about 30 minutes of rain throughout our stay, which was perfect! We woke up one morning at 4/5 am to heavy rain, but fortunately, it cleared by the time we were up. The bus service and drivers were outstanding—I couldn't have navigated without them. Our only downsides were the Wahoo Grill, where we didn't enjoy the meals despite great reviews, and the hard mattress—we got a topper, but it didn't help much. As I write this at the airport on the final day, I'm already looking online to book next year! Tips: use the insect repellent available in the room. It's truly effective; no bites at all, compared to over 40 in Mexico. Enjoy every moment—it’s so hard to leave! 🤣🤣
