Dream Island Retreat: Perfect Second Visit

Our second visit to this delightful island was every bit as perfect as the first! The service is exceptional—staff who stood out include our ambassador Saako, VK, Bikash, Mallick, and Ashan! Each staff member was friendly and went above and beyond to assist us! We dined at all the restaurants except the Japanese and Kaage, and each one was superb. We adored the Arancini at Shipwrecked and the carrot cake at Jungali! Our beach villa was spacious and expertly cared for by VK. It was cleaned daily with nightly turndown service, and the mini-bar was refreshed every day. Sadly, some maintenance was occurring in the sea opposite our villa, but we understood it was crucial for preventing beach erosion. Our visit lasted from August 19th for 10 nights. Upon arrival, it was quite busy but it became quieter as our stay progressed. We immensely enjoyed the SUPs and kayaks and were thrilled to see a turtle lingering near the water sports center. We also embarked on the sharks and turtles excursion, which was an unbelievable, once-in-a-lifetime experience! Each restaurant was remarkable. The Tempo buffet offered a vast selection daily; breakfast featured an omelette station and a mimosa/bloody Mary station! There's really nothing more we could ask for on the buffet—it had everything we wanted! We hope to return soon!
