Layover at Hamad International Airport, Doha Qatar

Doha International Airport isn't just an airport, it's also a tourist attraction!

We flew from Thailand to Washington, D.C. with Qatar Airways, so we had a transit stop in Doha.
On our way to DC, we had about a 2.20-hour layover (despite its size, the connection was easy, truly worthy of its award as one of the best airports in the world).
On our return flight, we thought we'd stop for a quick stop, so we opted for a 12-hour layover because they offer a Doha Transit Tour (more on that in a future post).

Actually, the airport itself is packed with shopping, restaurants, and tourist attractions, with plenty of beautiful photo spots.

The iconic Lamp Bear, or the Orchard Garden, is just as stunning.

There are also a ton of amenities:
Free Wi-Fi
Shower rooms (for an additional fee)
Laptops and sleeping areas (separate for men and women)

They also offer transit tours.
