It's not Beijing, but a little Forbidden City hidden in Dongguan, which left me totally baffled

It's hard to imagine that there is such a place in Dongguan.
Once I posted it on my Moments, people thought I went to Beijing.
In fact, it's a temple with a history of over 300 years.
It's also very close to Shenzhen, with a height equivalent to a 19-story building.
And there's even an elevator🛗, so getting a view from above is effortless.

📍: Guanyin Temple, Dalingshan Forest Park, Dongguan City
🚗: Take the Shenzhen subway to Songgang Station, then a 40-minute taxi ride will get you there, driving is more convenient (there are a few parking spaces at the entrance, and there's another one 300m away)
🈺: 6:30-19:00 (No entry after 18:30)
🎫: Free admission, no reservation needed

⚫️Tour Tips:
✔️It takes about 3 hours to tour the area, and if you want to take photos, rest, and have a vegetarian meal, reserve an extra 2 hours
✔️The vegetarian meal costs 25R per person, and you get a 5💰 refund for an empty plate, so don't waste food!
✔️You can buy incense at the entrance (20/bundle) or bring your own
-
⚫️Photography Tips:
✔️Most of the photos were taken in the Guanyin Pavilion, so if you just want to take photos, you can head straight there
✔️For clothing, light colors or modern Chinese style are recommended, and Hanfu is also a good choice
✔️The third floor of the elevator is a great spot for photos, many pictures were taken on 3L
✔️Good weather is a great filter, so choose the day of your visit accordingly
