[Dubai] Enjoy the locals in Dubai ♡

Dubai may have a strong image of glittering and sparkling these days, but I highly recommend going to the souks (markets) and the magnificent desert, which still retain a strong sense of the old Arab atmosphere. It's not too far, so I recommend taking a walk around the souks and local areas during the day and booking a desert tour in the evening before the sun goes down. It's about a 20-minute taxi ride from the downtown area in the center of Dubai to the Deira area! The abra (ferry) costs just a few dirhams (about a few tens of yen) and takes you on a short boat trip across Dubai Creek!
