Why We Keep Returning to Anantara

We’ve just returned home following a splendid two weeks at the Anantara. It's our fifth visit, so it's clear we're admirers of this lovely location! What draws us back repeatedly? The delightfully cool, serene lagoons, the breathtaking beach sunsets, the outstanding, welcoming service across the board, and the family-friendly apartments. We had the opportunity to stay in a newly refurbished one-bedroom apartment, and we could instantly see the enhancements—brighter rooms, extra storage, and more contemporary decor. The bed was somewhat firm, but our two kids each had their own cozy bed, one on a rollaway and the other on a sofa bed. The room was impeccably cleaned daily and although the shower room tiles could use a refresh, the apartment was ideal for us—separate sleeping areas for the kids, two TVs, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, plenty of storage, and a spacious balcony overlooking the lagoon. Our favorite restaurant was undoubtedly Mekong for dinner, but the breakfast buffet was superb as usual—a special shout-out to Aju, who has a true passion for the hotel, always went the extra mile to assist us, engaged the kids, and even arranged a takeaway breakfast on our departure day. Diana was also fantastic. Our kids really enjoyed the pool activities; Ford was excellent at involving and energizing everyone, making sure everyone had a blast. We were informed that the hotel will undergo more renovations this year in some communal areas and restaurants, and we're already excited about returning!
