Dujiangyan Irrigation System

Glad I engaged a guide, else I wouldn't have understood what I was looking at or exactly where the engineering was. There was quite a lot of walking involved. Besides the irrigation system, it was also worth crossing the old rope bridge called husband and wife bridge, checking out the old temples across the river, trekking the old tea horse paths along the river up to the old walls, and then down through the old town.
The old town is now very touristy but in a nice way.
End the trip through the ornate Qing dynasty old bridge.
Highly recommended.
