Ascending Qingcheng Mountain, winding ancient paths through lush bamboo forests lead to the core sacred site of Shangqing Palace. Nestled high above the mountain, its temples nestle against the mountainside, imposing and majestic, it is one of the most important Taoist temples on Qingcheng Mountain.

Shangqing Palace primarily enshrines the Three Deities of Shangqing Realm. Within the hall, incense burns abundantly, the golden statues are resplendent, and the atmosphere is solemn. Devotees burn incense and kowtow, praying for peace and prosperity, or devoting themselves to spiritual practice. Some simply stand quietly before the temple, absorbing the profound aura of "Tao follows nature."
