Stepping into the Church gallery, I was immediately drawn to the quiet dignity of the Christian artifacts—each one a vessel of belief, resilience, and spiritual intimacy. Among the most striking was the 15th-century iconographic finger-ring, delicately engraved with the Virgin Mary and a female saint, possibly Saint Barbara. Its worn edges whispered of daily prayer, of fingers tracing divine figures in moments of hope or fear. I imagined its wearer—a soul seeking protection, connection, and comfort—rubbing the silver-gilt surface as a tactile bridge to the sacred.
