[Momiji Shrine]

📍 Tanakayama Omoto Shrine, Ehime Prefecture

Omoto Shrine is a small shrine located in Nakatsugawa, Yawatahama City, that has been protected as the local guardian deity.

It is also known to locals as the "Maple Shrine".

It is now one of the most popular spots to see autumn leaves in the Nanyo region.

Along with the autumn leaves, you can enjoy the collaboration with the ginkgo trees that is unique to this place.

In the grounds of Omoto Shrine, there is a large ginkgo tree that is over 10 meters tall and is considered a sacred tree.

When the ginkgo leaves change color and fall, the yellow carpet creates a fantastic world from any angle.
