[El Nido] If you love the sea, you must visit! El Nido, the hidden gem of the Philippines

El Nido, located on the island of Palawan in the Philippines, appeared in an English textbook. It's not a place I'm familiar with, but it's a hidden place with a spectacular view that looks like a mix of Thailand's Phi Phi Island and Vietnam's Halong Bay!

→Transfer to a domestic flight from Manila.

It was surprisingly difficult to leave the international airport and get to the domestic flight, so I left the airport and took a bus to the domestic flight. There is only one airport and one airline in El Nido! Both the airport and the plane were very clean and had a resort feel.

○Recommendation
・Island hopping and diving are a must-do
→After arriving, I made reservations for diving and island hopping. There are many tour shops, so I was able to make a reservation for the next day at a low price even in the evening. Especially for island hopping, I snorkeled on an uninhabited island, kayaked in the Small Lagoon and the Big Lagoon, and the sea was so beautiful that it gave me goosebumps.

・You can enjoy the bars along the sea until late at night

→There are various stylish shops lined up on the sandy beach along the sea. The food is also very delicious, and it is relatively quiet compared to other parts of Southeast Asia, so you can enjoy your meal at a leisurely pace.

・Most of my transfers are in Manila, but there is a hotel with a casino within walking distance of the airport in Manila. It's fun to stop by if you take the time to make the most of your transit time. It was convenient because you could leave your large luggage at the hotel front desk for free.
