Quanzhou is back for family outings, and my social circle has been flooded with questions! Here's a super detailed guide

When you come to Quanzhou, be sure to keep this guide! This ancient city, half bustling with life and half like a fairyland, lets you experience Minnan culture and check in at popular photo spots. Most importantly, the food is absolutely delicious😋

⛩Must-visit attractions:
📍West Street: Quanzhou’s trendy old street, with red brick ancient houses full of Minnan characteristics. It’s super beautiful for photos at dusk. Don’t forget to check in at the Meichaofeng rooftop for the iconic twin tower photo spot.
📍Kaiyuan Temple: Located in the middle of West Street, the iconic East and West Pagodas are landmarks of Quanzhou. The red walls and green trees inside the temple make for great photos.
📍Xunpu Village: Experience the same Xunpu woman style as Zhao Liying, with fishing village vibes plus cheongsam and flower hairpins for stunning photos.
📍Qingjing Mosque: An Islamic mosque with a 3 yuan entrance fee. The exotic architecture is perfect for photography.
📍Guanyue Temple: A temple with bustling incense offerings, beautiful night views, and very effective fortune sticks.

📸Photo tips:
1. Wear a cheongsam and take flower hairpin photos in Xunpu Village.
2. Be sure to photograph the red walls of Kaiyuan Temple and the night view of Guanyue Temple.
3. Capture the twin towers sunset from the Meichaofeng rooftop on West Street.
4. The arcade street scenes on Zhongshan Road are very distinctive.

🚗Transportation tips:
Attractions in the old town are concentrated, so walking or shared electric scooters are recommended. To get to Xunpu Village, a taxi costs about 20 yuan. Remember to avoid rush hours.

🏨Accommodation suggestions:
Recommended to stay near West Street for convenient night strolls and food. Slow Stay Wuwen Dongxi Guesthouse is recommended, with a rooftop perfect for shooting the twin towers.
