Travel time✈️: We went from August 26 to August 31 in early autumn. You can see haystacks (prairie Swiss rolls), an early autumn exclusive. The grassland colors are mainly green with occasional yellow. I personally prefer the richer layers.
Itinerary:
DAY 1 Hailar
DAY 2 Hailar -- Morigele River Scenic Area -- Birch Forest Scenic Area -- Shiwei
(: Russian-style log cabin homestay)
DAY 3 Ka Line -- Equestrian Base --- Bonfire Party (highly recommended, the child loved it)
(Mongolian yurt)
DAY 4 Horse riding -- Equestrian performance — Barhu Mongolian Tribe Scenic Area (highly recommended) -- Matryoshka Doll Hotel - Manzhouli
DAY 5 Matryoshka Doll Hotel (I personally think daytime photos are better) -- Border Line -- Hulun Lake -- Hailar
Overall, the child was very cooperative, sleeping in the car and playing when getting off. We saw cattle, sheep, horses, and even wolves. I recommend a small car instead of a big bus; the scenery is on the road, and the scenic spots are not as good as the wild views. The weather is unpredictable, so if the sun comes out, get off immediately to take photos. The grassland weather is cool, making it very suitable for summer travel to avoid the high temperatures in Hangzhou. The mosquitoes there are huge, but the child was never bitten, while I got bitten badly (wear long sleeves and pants). Therefore, I recommend mid to late August. The local milk is very tasty.
