"Couples Exclusive" Romantic Journey in Hulunbuir

Enhe, a small town at the China-Russia border, is located in Ergun City under Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia. This peaceful little village, with a population of just over 2,600, is free from noise and bustle, resembling a fairy-tale town straight out of a Hayao Miyazaki film. Here, you can see ethnic Russians, various wooden cabins, and Russian-style rye bread sets. Personally, I find the sour pickled cucumber stir-fried with pork slices especially delicious—appetizing and perfect with rice. You must try it.
Coming to Enhe is about experiencing the atmosphere of a border town, watching the sunset in the evening, and feeling the tranquility of the border at dawn—an ambiance you won’t find in big cities or popular tourist spots.
In the evening, around 4:30, it’s time to climb the small hill in Enhe, which is probably the highest point in the town. It’s a dirt path, and the climb from the bottom to the top takes about fifteen minutes. Follow the narrow trail up, remember to keep right, keep right.
On the hillside, you can overlook the entire Enhe town with herds of cattle and sheep. We were lucky to see rain falling in the direction of Russia. Against the backdrop of the setting sun, the white curtain of rain turned pink—a rare and magnificent sight (photo 15).
As the sun sets, the whole hilltop turns into a pink skyline, and everything around is bathed in the rosy afterglow until night falls and the town enters tranquility.
Enhe has many places selling local specialties, but my advice is not to buy them here. Although shipping is free, the same products are much cheaper and more convenient to buy on Taobao. Enhe is definitely worth a visit, and once you’re here, you must climb the hill to watch the sunset and see Russia—it's a truly unique experience [Cute][Cute]
