🏝Tianping Mountain, also known as Mayangnao, faces the Yangtze River to the north and the Mufu Mountains to the south. It runs east to west, with an elevation of 219 meters. The mountain boasts a strategic location, lush forests, and beautiful scenery, combining revolutionary sites and tourist attractions.
🏝Yungai Temple, with its four grand halls, was originally built in the fourth year of Yonghe in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. The Ma Xiangu Temple, originally named Zhenlie Shrine, was built in the 50th year of Qianlong's reign in the Qing Dynasty to commemorate a local martyr surnamed Ma. Emperor Qianlong personally inscribed the temple's plaque during his tour of the south.
🏝This area was formerly the command center of the E'nan Anti-Japanese War. Existing sites include the former office of the E'nan Zhongxian County Party Committee, the New Fourth Army barracks, anti-Japanese trenches, an anti-Japanese exhibition room, and a martyrs' cemetery.
🏝Attractions on the mountain include the Eight Immortals' Footprints, the Immortal's Stone Chair, the Rain Prayer Platform, and Kezi Tianxing. There are also natural stone caves on the side of the mountain. To the northwest lies the Huanglong Reservoir, built in 1959, with a water storage and breeding area of 2,000 mu. The water is clear and suitable for swimming, fishing, and boating.
🏝The bamboo tunnel is incredibly healing! Walking on the bluestone road, with sunlight filtering through the bamboo leaves, you'll feel immersed in an emerald world.
