Shimen Natural Pristine Secret Spot - March Cave

This rocky coastline is one of the rare volcanic terrains in eastern Taiwan.
The volcanic rock formations are clearly exposed after being eroded by seawater.

On this coastal reef area, there is a massive sea-eroded cave.
It stands 5 meters tall and 18 meters wide, resembling a door, hence the name "Shimen" (Stone Gate).
In 2016, the Hollywood movie "Silence" was filmed here.
The cave's seaside entrance is shaped like a "March car," earning it the nickname "March Cave."
