This time, we took our two-and-a-half-year-old for an in-depth, hassle-free slow travel experience. Here’s the full guide plus beautiful scenery!

🏕️【Three-Day Family Itinerary】

Day 1: Relaxation Mode On
🚗 Depart Beijing at 11 AM → Lunch in Huairou (baby asleep) → Fengning Service Area for a break → Arrive at the homestay by 5 PM

- Remember to let the baby get off and move around for 15 minutes at the service area
- Recommended to take photos at the entrance of Wuma World at dusk (limited play options for toddlers)
- Must-buy for late-night snack: sparklers🎆! Baby’s first fireworks, excited and screaming

Day 2: Horse Riding + Prairie Fun Day
🐎 Morning: Ai Ma Farm (free!)
📍 Navigation: China Horse Town Visitor Center Parking Lot
🚌 Transfer to free shuttle bus (make sure it goes to the farm)
🏇 150 RMB/40-minute parent-child horse riding experience (our 2.5-year-old was super happy the whole time!)

600 m spot 👉🏻 Hillside full of cattle🐄 (100% photo-worthy!)
✨ Hidden fun: rented a four-wheel ATV for the baby (car-loving boy was thrilled)

Day 3: Flash River Water Play and Return
🏞️ Navigate to "Lakeside Renjia Station," a stunning stream camping site
⛺ You can pitch tents/picnic/play in the water (remember to bring water guns🔫)

Recommended to stay in a homestay in Datanzhen town center

✗ Note: Fireworks can be noisy at night (suggest bringing earplugs for the baby)
