Chongqing 重庆 itinerary for 1-2 days ❤️

Chongqing city , 重庆🤎
Really impressive cyber city which you have to put in your itinerary in China !
Here are some places which I recommend in Chongqing city, Part 1 :
1. Shibadi old street (十八梯) - Beautiful streets and nice shops , you can easily spend around 2 hours there.Quiet and charming in the early morning , also much less tourists, becoming more crowded around 10 am.
2. Kuixinglou building (魁星楼) - Building where it feels like that you are on the first floor but in fact you are on 22nd floor and at 8th at the same time. Possible to walk from Shibadi 👆🏼around 20 minutes.
3. Chongqing Luohan temple (罗汉寺）- Absolutely stunning temple not so far from CBD busy district and surprisingly not touristic and crowded at all! Entrance fee is 20¥/person. Highly recommended, one of the most beautiful temples I ever saw.
4. Liziba monorail station (李子坝轻轨站) - To watch how the train goes through the building (every 6-10 minutes).
5. Jiefangbei CBD street (解放碑) - Just to walk around city center , really nice in the evening when the lights are on.
6. Long Men Hao Old Street (龙门浩老街)- Beautiful old streets with nice views on the bridge and river. A lot of small coffee/tea shops and some famous picture spots. Recommending to try «Maque 麻雀» cafe 🍵
7. Hongyadong caves (洪崖洞)- For the best neon lights view in the evening but expect huge crowds around 7:30 pm when lights are on. Also possible to come inside for some famous hot pot dinner or street food.
8. Hot pot 火锅- Try famous Chongqing spicy hot pot 🌶️. Recommending to try Peijie Hot Pot (珮姐老火锅). Ask for two flavored hot pot (鸳鸯锅) and for the spicy pot ask for the least spicy one(微辣).
9. The Ring Mall (光环购物公园) - Quick walk through indoor forest.
10. Guangying Bridge (广迎桥) - Beautiful spot for skyline pictures but gets pretty crowded in the evening.

For the first time visit I would recommend to stay near Jiefangbei area. We stayed in ASPERA hotel and everything what we wanted to visit were in the walkable distance. Subway also just 7 minutes away.
