Memorable Anniversary and Birthday at W Maldives

We celebrated both our 6th anniversary and my wife's delayed birthday. Each staff member contributed with their warm smiles and personalized greetings， but some deserve special mention: - Bisha， our coordinator， promptly attended to our needs， arranged our programs and transport， and made our dining reservations， also enhancing our stay with nightly bed decorations and handwritten cards. We were pleasantly surprised by the personal gifts on our last day.- Bianca from reservations addressed our inquiries with patience and professionalism， easing our decision to choose W.- Claire， the F&B Director， was visible at all dining venues， reflecting a management focus on excellence.- Sandra， the Assistant F&B Director， surprised us with a unique "sushi cake" and shared her inspiring journey with us.- Serene and Lynn from F&B offered recommendations and remembered our seating preferences， providing warm and professional service.- Alip and Nihal from F&B gave us insights into Maldivian culture and cuisine through their engaging stories.- Tengei， the wine sommelier， impressed us with his wine knowledge and friendly disposition.- John， dubbed the Aquaman， gave us helpful tips on snorkeling and led us to spotting the resident turtle "BOP".- At Wet deck， Ishaan， Muhey， Arjit， and Shakeel customized drinks to our liking and noticed thoughtful details like bringing us preferred water while we played pool.- Manil， W’s photographer， patiently captured a beautiful picture that became a cherished memory.- Chef Wasantha and his team ensured top-quality food， showcasing creativity and presentation that exceeded expectations.Review of Our Stay:Arrival at Velana Airport was seamless thanks to the W staff who guided us through the seaplane process and ensured comfort in the lounge. On arriving at W Maldives， we received a warm welcome from the management team， boosting our confidence in their commitment to creating magical stays. After enjoying a refreshing local drink and tour， we settled into our villa， delighted by an unexpected upgrade. Our room， recently renovated， was spotless and embodied the "W" vibe， enhancing our comfort with thoughtful gestures like a Prosecco and sweet treats. Diving into snorkelling， one of our main attractions， we found the house reef close to shore and teeming with marine life， creating a captivating underwater experience.When not snorkeling， we enjoyed the pool， reliving childhood moments on the water slide， and cooled off with icicles. The gym’s modern equipment and stunning views added enjoyment to our workouts.Dining offered delightful surprises through remarkably fresh imported ingredients and creative dishes. With an all-inclusive package， meals at Fire and Fish stood out， exceeding our culinary expectations.As our short 3-night stay concluded， we left feeling rejuvenated and thankful for the staff's kindness and every moment spent in this slice of paradise.
