I stayed in **Deluxe Sky Room #210(2nd floor) on Full Board**, with transfer included. And while yes — the bathroom is tired, the shower has no hose (just a fixed head), and the wardrobe is tiny… we didn’t care. Because every morning, we stepped out to:
→ A house reef 5 meters from shore— alive with turtles, rays, clownfish, and healthy coral (we snorkeled daily — zero gear rental needed).
→ A **quiet northern beach** — soft sand, turquoise water, fewer footprints than anywhere else.
→ **Numbered sunbeds** — your spot is guaranteed. No fighting for loungers.
→ **Assigned dining table** — no chaos at mealtime. You sit, relax, eat.

🍽️ Food Reality Check:
Not gourmet, but honest
- Breakfast, lunch, dinner — buffet style, compact but diverse.
- Strong Indian/Sri Lankan flavors — spicy curries, fresh tuna dishes, coconut rice.
- European options available (pasta, grilled chicken).
- Fresh fruit always: pineapple, papaya, melon, oranges.
- Desserts? Average. But who needs cake when you have ocean views?
- Cocktail note: Only **Long Island Iced Tea** stood out. Others were too sweet.

🏝️ **Why We Loved It:**
✅ Cozy island vibe — swings, hammocks, a tiny sandbank perfect for sunset photos.
✅ No bugs or pests (despite rumors — we saw zero mice/climbing insects).
✅ All essentials provided: robes, slippers, toothbrushes, razors, combs.
✅ Friendly staff — warm, not robotic. They remember your name.

⚠️ Real Talk:
- That black bird? 🐦⬛ It exists. Wakes you up at night. Annoying? Yes. Dangerous? No. Just nature being loud.
- Day-trippers sometimes take guest sunbeds — but staff intervene quickly.
- Rooms need renovation — but again, this is **budget-friendly luxury**. For $300/night all-inclusive? Worth it.

This resort doesn’t pretend to be 5-star.
But it offers what many luxury resorts lack: **authenticity, charm, and a reef so close, you can jump in from your terrace**.

We didn’t want to leave.
