
Fuzhou Menghu Scenic Area is a large recreational lake park in downtown Fuzhou, Jiangxi Province. Constructed and excavated in 2007 by the Fuzhou Municipal Party Committee, Menghu is an artificial lake. Originally named "Artificial Lake," it was later renamed Menghu after its development into an ecological park. The largest feature of the Fuzhou Menghu Scenic Area is Menghu Square, covering 129 mu (approximately 16 acres). Designed to promote Linchuan culture, it features 329 landscape lights, including 34 cultural ones. Menghu also emphasizes greenery, with over 170 hectares of green space.
Fuzhou City belongs to the southern humid and rainy monsoon climate zone, with a humid climate, abundant rainfall, sufficient light and heat, distinct four seasons, and a long growing season.
