Squirrel elements and fairy-tale-like playgrounds make it a paradise for kids~

Just got back from Forest Pines Resort in Fogang and totally fell in love with this family-friendly hotel! The whole mountain is filled with squirrel elements and fairy-tale playgrounds, truly a paradise for kids~🐿️

【Forest Pines Squirrel Hotel Play Guide】

📍Location
Hidden deep in the Forest Pines Resort, Yue Song Zhuang is located halfway up the mountain, 50 meters south of the resort, with very accurate self-driving navigation. About a 1.5-hour drive from Guangzhou, it’s recommended to combine with nearby hot springs or farms for a 2-day, 1-night trip.

🎪Must-Do Activities
• Wonderful World Adventure: Like stepping into a Nordic fairy tale forest, a real-life squirrel adventure where kids can feed squirrels up close
• Glacier Water Park: Lots of shallow water slides suitable for young children, with a constant water temperature of 28°C, very thoughtful
• Volcano Hot Spring Area: Each room includes 2 adult and 1 child hot spring tickets, highly recommend the cave hot spring pool for a dreamy experience

🛏️Room Review
The duplex slide room we stayed in was amazing! The upper floor has a starry sky-themed kids’ bed, the lower floor has a 1.8m large bed, and the best part is the spiral slide that goes directly to the living room. The bathroom is equipped with a smart toilet and double sinks, and the balcony even has a private hot spring soaking pool~

🍽️Dining Tips
Breakfast is served in the jungle-themed restaurant, with freshly made rice rolls and claypot porridge highly recommended. For dinner, try the hotel’s own farmhouse restaurant; bamboo tube rice and mountain pit fish are very special. It’s best to dine off-peak to avoid queues.

📸Photo Spots
1. The giant pinecone chandelier in the hotel lobby (best to shoot during the evening blue hour)
2. The mushroom house cluster at the entrance of the Wonderful World
3. The bird’s nest soaking pool in the hot spring area (remember to bring a white swimsuit)

⚠️Practical Tips
• Remember to collect free game coins at the front desk (can be exchanged for amusement activities)
• Electric carts are available on call throughout the park; families with kids are advised to ride more and walk less
• It’s recommended to bring children’s slippers and waterproof phone pouches

Room Booking Tips: Lock in the slide room one month in advance during peak season; in the off-season, there are often "stay 1 night, get hot spring access" packages~ Families with kids can go straight for the family-themed rooms, definitely worth the price!
