Huagai Road in Daliang Town, Shunde was built in the early years of the Republic of China, with a total length of more than 600 meters. Due to its long history, its basic supporting facilities are seriously insufficient, and most of the buildings on both sides have become dangerous buildings. In order to restore the historical style of Fengcheng Old Street🌅, the Shunde Municipal Government began to renovate Huagai Road in 1998 and set it up as a tourist and cultural pedestrian street.

The classic arcade-style buildings on both sides of the street are Lingnan Western-style buildings with the characteristics of arcades in the late Qing Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty. There are also some unique houses that blend Chinese and Western styles. There are many international brand chain stores in the street, including Minxin, a famous old shop for double skin milk, which also has a branch.
