The Tropicarium displays tropical plants in their ecological context. The north wing is home to the vegetation of the humid tropics. It contains plants from the South African including cactus 🌵.In the 20-hectare park, everything that flora has to offer grows and proliferates in the open air and in various greenhouses: delicate flowers, opulent rhododendrons, spiky giant cacti, alpine herbs and carnivorous exotics. And of course the eponymous palm trees. Some mighty specimens are more than 100 years old.
