About an hour's drive east of Malaga, past the coastal city of Nerja and climbing a mountain road, a dazzling white village nestled neatly on the mountainside comes into view. The gleaming limestone houses, cascading under the blue Mediterranean sky, felt like a painting from the moment I first saw them.🌊

Walking along the village's alleyways, you'll be captivated by the narrow streets and cobblestone pavement, remnants of the Arabic Mudejar style. Pink bougainvillea and red geraniums hang from the white walls, adding a touch of life and color to the pristine white village. Ceramic tile murals scattered throughout the area tell the stories of the Moors and Christian kingdoms that once ruled the area, making it more than just a beautiful village, it truly feels like a place steeped in history!👍

Climbing a little further up the hill, you'll reach the village's observation deck, where the views are truly breathtaking. The endless red roofs and white houses, and the sparkling Mediterranean coastline in the distance, create a breathtaking Andalusian scene of mountains and sea, a unique fusion of beauty.🫠
