Kawaguchiko

Kawaguchiko is the second largest lake out of the five lakes surrounding Mount Fuji. It is located in Fujikawaguchiko City, Yamanashi Prefecture. It is also registered as a World Heritage Site by Unesco along with the other four lakes. It is a popular city for tourists because there are many tourist attractions to choose from and there is an activity to hike up Mount Fuji. It can be said that when you come to Kawaguchiko, you can visit everything. It is easy to travel by train and bus. In addition, there are many routes to travel around the lake. Today, we chose to take the red bus route. Get off at stop 15, which is Kawaguchiko Music Forest Museum and stop 16 Olsson's Strawberry Cafe. You can walk through to each other. It will be a view of the lake and the big Mount Fuji by the lake. It is another beautiful place. Especially during the cherry blossom season, it is very beautiful. Pink flowers are all over the street. There are also shops selling things. Although when we went, the cherry blossoms were not in bloom yet, but the view is no different. Just 1 day is not enough to see much. For those who plan to visit Mount Fuji, we would like to recommend staying here for a night. There are many places to visit and the weather is cool and comfortable. But if you go during the winter, the snow will be very cold. If you go, don't forget to buy souvenirs. Mt. Fuji cookies are delicious and cute.
