Tokyo - a beautiful city of contrasts

🚌 Transportation Tips - I booked a one-day tour through a Hong Kong tour group platform, meeting at Shinjuku Station around 8:30 AM. The tour cost me around HK$600 per day, and I arrived back in Shinjuku around 6:00 AM. I even saw a beautiful sea of clouds as I left Mount Fuji on the way back. If you're not tired, you can enjoy a hearty dinner in Shinjuku~
🌸Local Attractions - Lake Kawaguchi, Fuji Cherry Blossoms, Mount Fuji 🗻Scenic Ropeway, Strawberry Picking onsite🍓~ The Mount Fuji area gets quite cold, so there were still some cherry blossoms when we visited in April~ Some Japanese people drove up and brought their adorable puppies with them🥰
🏨Hotel - We didn't stay at a Mount Fuji hotel on our trip, but I heard from friends that many hotels offer direct views of Mount Fuji. However, depending on the weather, you might not be able to see the entire mountain. I was lucky on the day we went🥰
🍱Food and Restaurants - There were quite a few tour groups that day, so to avoid traffic, we ate bento on the tour bus. The tour fee includes everything. There are also a few small shops near the cable car where you can get ice cream 🍦~
👛 Shopping Guide - There are several scenic spots along the way where you can buy Mount Fuji souvenirs. I bought a beautiful Mount Fuji cherry blossom water cup. I saw the Mount Fuji whiskey 🥃 and various sake 🍶 and really wanted to take them all home, but they were too heavy to buy.
🎀 Summary: Mount Fuji looks different every time I visit. I never get tired of it and it's worth a visit every few years. I heard there are guided tours to climb Mount Fuji for a limited time each year. If you enjoy climbing, you should definitely give it a try.
