#favouriteitinerary For a spring visit to Mt. Fuji with a stop at Arakurayama Sengen Park, here’s a suggested itinerary:
Morning:
• Arrival at Arakurayama Sengen Park: Start your day early by arriving at the park, located in Fujiyoshida, which offers one of the most iconic views of Mt. Fuji. The park is particularly beautiful in spring when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.
• Climb the Pagoda: Take a stroll up to the Chureito Pagoda for a panoramic view of the mountain framed by cherry blossoms.
• Explore the Park: Walk around the park, enjoy the flowers, and take some scenic photos. It’s a peaceful spot with excellent photo opportunities.
Midday:
• Lunch at a local restaurant: Head to a nearby restaurant for a meal, perhaps try a dish like Hōtō (a noodle soup that’s local to the region) to warm up.
Afternoon:
• Visit the Mt. Fuji 5th Station: If you’re up for it, head to the Mt. Fuji 5th Station, located halfway up the mountain. You can reach it via bus from Kawaguchiko Station, where you’ll be able to see amazing views of the surrounding area, snow-capped peaks (depending on the season), and the vastness of Mt. Fuji.
Evening:
• Return to Kawaguchiko: Head back to Kawaguchiko, where you can enjoy the scenic area around Lake Kawaguchi, which also offers incredible views of Mt. Fuji.
This day trip will offer a good combination of outdoor beauty, cultural spots, and natural wonders, especially with the cherry blossoms in full bloom. #favouriteitinerary #japantrip #travel
