Kawaguchiko 🏔 on a day when the weather is not good

💪🏻 First time in Japan, I was determined to hunt for Mt. Fuji.
I'd already looked up reviews and references for each spot, and booked the Fuji Excursion train in advance using the JR Wide Pass. But then, on the actual day, the weather was a total disaster. The trains even announced a suspension. I was in a panic. I wanted to switch plans. I had already booked the Shinkansen to a ski resort the next day, but I couldn't change it. I wanted to go to Kamakura today instead. I checked the weather and it was raining heavily, so since I was already there, I checked the bus stop to see if it was running. If it was, I was off! So, I ended up paying an additional 4,400 yen per person (which I wouldn't have paid if I had taken the train). 😂😂

🏔 When I arrived in Kawaguchiko, I realized the weather was really bad. The sky was completely overcast. I couldn't see a thing. We just wandered around feeling lonely, cold, and rainy. 5555555
