An hour and a half from Tokyo, this is the Kamakura × Enoshima course where you can enjoy history and the ocean at once.



🕗 08:00 Depart from Tokyo – Get ready for the Enoden Freepass
• Recommended to use the Odakyu Railway “Enoshima-Kamakura Freepass”, round-trip transportation + unlimited Enoden and discount included 
• Approximately 90 minutes from Shinjuku to Enoshima Station via Fujisawa.



🌊 10:00 AM – Explore Enoshima
1. Benzaiten Nakamise Street: Have a hearty breakfast with shirasu rice bowl and street snacks ()
2. Enoshima Shrine: Visit the three shrines (Hetsumiya, Nakatsumiya, Okutsumiya) 
3. Samuel Cocking Garden + Sea Candle Observatory: The highlight of Enoshima! If you're lucky, you can also see Mt. Fuji from the observatory ()



🍃 Noon - Iwaya Cave & Seaside Walk
• Iwaya Cave: Two caves under the sea cliff, walk in a mysterious atmosphere ()
• Lover's Bell & Candlelight Fairy Tale Event: A famous spot for lovers, a romantic photo spot ()



🌅 2:00 PM - Move to Kamakura (Enoden approx. 25 min)
• Take the Enoden train full of retro sensibility, and enjoy the leisurely scenery along the coastline ()
• After arriving at Hase Station, walk.



🛕 14:30 – Kamakura Highlights Tour
1. Kotoku-in Great Buddha: 13.35m tall, can be explored indoors 
2. Hasedera Temple: Seasonal flowers and views, beautiful clifftop view 
3. Komachi-dori: Kamakura’s representative shopping street, shopping for specialty products and desserts 
4. Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine: Founded in 1063, main shrine with a long history 



☕ 17:00 – Cafe break & light snacks
• Enjoy matcha latte, shoyu donuts, etc. at a cafe in Kamakura or near the station.



🌇 18:00 – Return to Tokyo
• Take the Enoden to Kamakura Station → Fujisawa → Tokyo. • You can return to Tokyo by 20:00~21:00 at the latest.

• Sunrise/Sunset: Sunset at Enoshima Sea Candle Observatory, and an early morning walk in Kamakura are perfect for recharging your emotions ()
• Train Timings: Enoden runs approximately every 15 minutes 
• All you need is a free pass!: Transportation + discounts on popular tourist attractions all in one ()
• If it rains: You can go to the cave/garden with an umbrella, and by the way, the candlelight event can be opened/closed if it rains.
