I took the Fujikyuko Line which is closer to to Mount Fuji (Ōtsuki - Fujiyoshida). This section is the highlight of the journey. The train slows down, allowing passengers to enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Fuji framed by forests and traditional Japanese countryside homes. Also there are scenic stops like Mt. Fuji Station and Shimoyoshida Station offer postcard-worthy views of the iconic peak.
