Snowy Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine

Unexpected heavy snow caught us off guard—we didn’t have snow tires or chains. Then we saw three cars skidding and crashing on the road 😱.
Terrified, we decided to skip Gotemba Outlet after visiting Kitaguchi Hongu Sengen Shrine and headed straight to the Marriott Hotel.
We opted for an early soak in the hot springs ♨️, booked a sweat-inducing rock bath session, and took time to relax and enjoy ourselves 🙂.
Snow changed our plans.
