Missing the snow-covered Mount Fuji

Arakurayama Sengen Shrine at Kawaguchiko is internationally renowned for its breathtaking scenery featuring the Chureito Pagoda, torii gates, and Mount Fuji. It's a must-visit spot for a day trip to Kawaguchiko. Visitors can pray for family well-being, exam success, and safe childbirth here, but be prepared to climb nearly 400 steps, which can be quite exhausting. However, there is a parking lot midway for those driving, making it more convenient and saving you some walking.

Every year, the cherry blossoms at Arakurayama Sengen Park are stunning, and the autumn foliage is also worth seeing. After purchasing an omamori (amulet), you can explore nearby attractions like Honcho Shopping Street and enjoy the ever-changing views of Mount Fuji!
