Chasing Mount Fuji at Arakurayama Sengen Park 🍁🍂🗻🇯🇵

I made my way to Arakurayama Sengen Park, hoping to catch that iconic view of Mount Fuji from afar — the one you see on postcards, perfectly framed behind the red Chureito Pagoda. The journey there was already beautiful in itself; autumn had painted the landscape in shades of red, orange, and gold, and the air carried that crisp fall chill that makes you feel alive.

Along the way, I spotted some adorable themed trains — one featuring Mount Fuji motifs and another inspired by Naruto, which made the trip even more fun and uniquely Japanese. Street stalls were filled with bright red Fuji apples, looking almost too perfect to eat.

I had come all this way dreaming of seeing Fuji’s snow-capped peak, but luck wasn’t on my side this time — the mountain hid shyly behind a blanket of clouds. Still, there was something peaceful about being there, surrounded by autumn colors and local charm. Maybe it’s just a good excuse to come back to Japan again — next time, hopefully, Fuji-san will be waiting for me.
