The Fairyland of Yaochi, Embraced by Peaks

Nestled midway up the majestic Bogda Peak, the Tianshan Heavenly Lake—anciently known as Yaochi—is surrounded by a spectacular panorama of snow-capped mountains. These imposing peaks, covered in perennial snow and glaciers, create an awe-inspiring setting. The most prominent is the main Bogda Peak, standing at 5,445 meters above sea level. Together with two adjacent summits, the three silver-glowing peaks rise side by side, their reflections shimmering in the azure lake waters to form the magnificent "Three Peaks Over a Sea of Snow" spectacle. To the southwest, Mount Maya, with its steep ridges resembling rows of horse teeth, offers another superb vantage point for overlooking the Heavenly Lake and gazing into the distant mountain ranges.
