Standing by the shore of Heavenly Lake and gazing at the distant Temple of Queen Mother of the West, I felt a deep yearning to visit. However, the lakeside trail stretches for 12.5 kilometers, requiring about five hours to complete on foot. As I looked at the winding mountain path ahead and considered my physical stamina, I ultimately had to give up. This legendary realm of Yaochi, with its serene and mystical seclusion, remained beyond my reach—too far to traverse, too strenuous to conquer. I could only admire its untouched beauty from afar, saving this dream for another time.
