Kushida Shrine is located in the center of Hakata.
As a result, it is the main guardian deity of the city of Hakata.
The deities enshrined are
Amaterasu Omikami, Owatanushi no Okami, and Susanoo no Mikoto.
At the entrance to the shrine grounds, there is a sacred tree called "Kushida Ginkgo." It is said to be 1,000 years old and is a symbol of longevity.
It is also the shrine where the summer festival "Hakata Gion Yamakasa" is dedicated.
