The encounter between art and nature: a two-day trip to the Fukuoka Art Museum

#FukuokaItinerary
Day 1: Immerse yourself in art
Early in the morning, I came to the Fukuoka Art Museum next to Ohori Park. This modern building complements the natural environment and has become a paradise for art lovers. The museum's exhibits cover a variety of art works from ancient times to the present, including Eastern Buddhist art, Western classic paintings and contemporary design. Standing for a long time in front of Monet's "Water Lilies", the soft brushstrokes make you feel as if you are by a pond in France. In the afternoon, I visited a special exhibition of local artists. The strong Fukuoka style revealed in the works made me feel very familiar. Walking out of the art museum, the sunlight is reflected on the lake surface of Ohori Park, and the quiet scenery becomes a continuation of the artistic experience.
Day 2: Breathing Art in Nature
The next morning, I set foot on the trail of Ohori Park again, jogging along the lake, feeling the fresh air and the natural beauty around me. Afterwards, I returned to the outdoor garden of the Fukuoka Art Museum to admire the creative sculptures, especially an installation art with the theme of symbiosis between nature and humans, which was thought-provoking. Take a break in the art museum cafe, enjoy the garden view through the floor-to-ceiling windows, and the sunlight shines on the coffee in the cup, creating a faint golden glow. This two-day journey through art and nature allowed me to calm my soul and brought a perfect end to my trip to Fukuoka.
