Maizuru Park, located in the center of Fukuoka City, is a scenic spot that combines history and nature and can be easily reached by subway. A 5-minute walk from Ohori Park Station on the Airport Line, you can enjoy different views in each season, centered around the ruins of Fukuoka Castle. At the Fukuoka Castle History Exploration Museum, you can explore the castle town style of the Edo period!
🌸During the spring "Fukuoka Castle Sakura Festival", about 1,000 cherry trees are in full bloom, and the wonderful combination of castle and cherry blossoms is amazing. Especially the weeping cherry blossoms by the moat are definitely a popular check-in spot!
☀️The dense shade of the trees brings coolness in the summer, and the wide lawn is perfect for picnics. The illuminated stone walls create a mysterious atmosphere at night.
🍁In autumn, the maple leaves and ginkgo trees turn red, and the beautiful scenery of the red leaves reflected in the moat is unique. The view from the castle tower is one of the best places to view fall foliage in Fukuoka.
❄️The snow-covered stone walls in winter make people feel the weight of history, and the city ruins standing in silence seem to travel through time and space back to the past.
