[Tochoji Temple in Hakata, Fukuoka Prefecture] The first temple built by Kukai in Japan

I went to Tochoji Temple in Hakata, Fukuoka Prefecture ☺️

Tochoji Temple was the first temple built in Japan by Kukai (Kobo Daishi).

In the Great Buddha Hall on the second floor, there is the Fukuoka Daibutsu, which is one of the largest wooden seated statues in Japan.

Unfortunately, photography of the Great Buddha was prohibited, but it was very wonderful.

The grounds are very spacious and open.

It's worth seeing, so if you're interested, please go and see it.
