Marie, a chiffon cake, became explosively popular after Tanabe from Borujiku introduced it on TV.
The quarter-cut cakes that can be purchased in stores have a shelf life of one day, while the cup type has a shelf life of three days from the date of purchase, so if you want to buy it as a souvenir, be aware of the difference in shelf life.
The Tenjin store in the Tenjin Underground Mall where I bought it sells the cup type, so I bought it as a souvenir to take back to Tokyo.
The most popular item is Shio Koji, a gluten-free chiffon cake made with tapioca flour. It's fluffy like air and a little chewy. It's finely textured and disappears in your mouth with a fizz, and it's so light and delicious that you could eat as much as you want.
If you buy six pieces, they'll put them in a box, so you don't have to worry about them falling apart, so I recommend it.
