🇯🇵 Must-Visit Restaurants in Fukuoka Canal City

#AugustTravelSupport

While exploring Canal City, a popular shopping spot in Fukuoka, I suddenly felt hungry and was looking for a quick snack when I stumbled upon .
Japanese takoyaki is delicious no matter where you eat it, but this place exceeded my expectations!

📍Location
Near the Canal City Hakata Ramen Stadium food court, this small but always-line-filled takoyaki shop is a must-try.

While there are plenty of tourists, I also saw a fair number of locals sneaking in to buy a pack.

✔️Ordering Tips
The standard takoyaki set comes in a 6-piece or 8-piece package.
I ordered the 8-piece set (sauce and mayo).

You can choose from the regular sauce, soy sauce, ponzu, and more, and you can even choose with or without mayonnaise. Be sure to add mayonnaise!

✔️Review
Crispy on the outside: Freshly baked, the edges are lightly crispy. Soft and moist on the inside: I almost burned my tongue lol. The inside is almost battered and fresh, which is the charm of ‘soft on the outside, soft on the inside’!
The octopus texture is also chewy: It wasn’t shrunken octopus like cheap takoyaki, but it had real, chewy octopus meat.
The sauce was just right: It wasn’t salty and gently melted in your mouth. With the addition of mayonnaise, it was a flavor that made me feel good even without alcohol.
