The Fukuoka Prefectural Art Museum and the Municipal Art Museum are separate venues, but they're not too far apart. The Municipal Art Museum is located near Ohori Park and the Fukuoka Castle Ruins, while the Prefectural Art Museum is near Susaki Park and the Fukuoka Civic Center. It's a rather plain museum, with few masterpieces. By train, it's accessible from Nakasu-Kawabata Station or Tenjin Station, and a ten-minute walk.
The museum has four floors, a small venue. Tickets are 210 yen. This time, they're showcasing paintings by prefectural artists, a highly anticipated event.
