Kyushu Fukuoka Attractions: Miyajidake Shrine and the Path of Light

Miyajidake Shrine in Kyushu is home to the largest sacred rope (shimenawa) in Kyushu. The largest in Japan can be found at Izumo Taisha. This shrine hosts numerous festivals throughout the year, such as the Festival of Light and Sound and the Tanabata Festival. The shrine is truly stunning and majestic.

Another unique way to experience Miyajidake Shrine is through its "Path of Light." The best times to capture photos of this phenomenon are in February and October each year.
